Milton Doyle To Play For Sacramento Kings In NBA Summer League

Former Loyola standout played in Spain in 2018-19 and for Brooklyn Nets in 2017-18

CHICAGO (June 25, 2019) – Milton Doyle (Chicago, Ill./Marshall/Kansas), who starred at Loyola University Chicago from 2013-17, will play for the Sacramento Kings during NBA Summer League play in California and Las Vegas next month. Doyle participated in NBA Summer League action for the Brooklyn Nets in each of the last two summers. 
 
Last season, Doyle played for Universidad Catolica De Murcia in Spain, where he put up 11.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. When he appeared in 10 games for the Brooklyn Nets in 2017-18, the 6-foot-4 guard became the first Loyola product to appear in an NBA contest since 1987 (Andre Moore). Doyle netted 1,606 points in his Loyola career and was a First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference pick as a senior in 2016-17, when he recorded 15.2 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 4.4 apg and 1.7 spg.
 
This marks the third straight season that a former Loyola men's basketball student-athlete has participated in NBA Summer League play.
 
The Kings open NBA Summer League action July 1 when they host the California Classic in Sacramento.
