CHICAGO (December 20, 2020) – Loyola University Chicago head men's basketball coach
Porter Moser announced tonight that the Ramblers have added a game to their 2020-21 schedule and will host the University of Saint Francis (Ill.) on Tuesday, Dec. 22, at noon at Gentile Arena.Â
Â
This will be just the second meeting between Loyola and Saint Francis and the first since December 28, 2009, when the Ramblers picked up a 63-46 victory at Gentile Arena.Â
Â
Saint Francis, which brings a 5-2 record into Tuesday's contest, has won five of its last six outings and is coming off an 85-76 victory over Huntington yesterday. Coach Ryan Marks' Saints are led by senior guard Eric Ting, who accounts for a team-best 12.7 points per game and shoots a scorching 66.7 percent (12-for-18) from three-point range.
Â
Loyola (3-2) has dropped its last two games, both to nationally ranked teams, and is set to open Missouri Valley Conference action when it hosts Illinois State December 27 and 28.
