CHICAGO (January 14, 2021) – The Missouri Valley Conference announced today changes to the 2020-21 men's basketball schedule, with a few of those adjustments impacting Loyola University Chicago.
The Ramblers' series at Missouri State, which had been slated for January 30 and 31 has been moved to January 31 and February 1 at JQH Arena in Springfield, Mo. The opener of that two-game set is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network. The finale on February 1 will tip at 7 p.m. CT and be streamed on The Valley on ESPN (ESPN3/ESPN+).
In addition, Loyola's two-game set at MVC leader Drake, which was postponed last week due to positive COVID-19 test results within the Bulldogs' Tier 1 personnel, has been rescheduled for February 13 and 14 in Des Moines, Iowa. Both games at Drake will tip off at 5 p.m. CT and be televised on either ESPN2 or ESPNU.
Also announced were changes to the TV broadcast schedule for Loyola's games at Bradley next weekend. The Ramblers' January 24 game at Bradley will start at 3 p.m. CT and air live on NBC Sports Chicago, FOX Sports Midwest, FOX Sports Kansas City and FOX Sports Indiana Plus. The following night, Loyola and Bradley will square off on CBS Sports Network at 6 p.m. CT.
MVC athletically-related activities will take place only to the extent permitted by local environments and applicable national, state, local and institutional guidelines in order to safeguard the health and safety of participants, staff and fans.
Loyola (8-3, 3-1 MVC) is back in action Saturday (Jan. 16) when it opens a two-game series versus Northern Iowa at Gentile Arena. Tip-off Saturday is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT and the game will be televised live to a national audience on ESPN2.
