CHICAGO (October 9, 2021) – The Loyola University Chicago men's golf team will see action in the penultimate event of the fall portion of its 2021-22 season next week when it visits Jonesboro, Ark. for the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate.
Set to be take place at the RidgePointe Country Club (par 72, 6,676 yards), first-round play will begin with an 8:15 a.m. shotgun start on Monday morning, with the event's second round to immediately follow. Tee times from 7:45 a.m. are set to get Tuesday's final round underway.

Included with the Maroon & Gold in the 17-team field assembled for the event are Missouri Valley Conference foes Evansville, Missouri State, and Valparaiso, in addition to event host Arkansas State and Jesuit rival Creighton.
The Ramblers will stick with the same lineup that led them to a fourth-place finish (284-285-295=864) at the Zach Johnson Invitational just under two weeks ago in Des Moines, Iowa. That starting five includes graduate student
Devin Johnson, redshirt senior
Tyler Anderson, and juniors
Timmy Crawford,
Dylan Ellis, and
Zach Walsh.
Johnson is coming off an impressive showing in Iowa's state capital that saw the Geneva, Ill. native finish as the top Rambler on the individual leaderboard, tying for 11
th overall with a one-over-par 214 (71-67-76). Crawford (T-14
th; 73-75-68=216) and Ellis (T-16
th; 68-72-77=217) also earned top-20 finishes.
Loyola caps off its fall state at the Flyer Invitational in Kettering, Ohio, October 18-19.
