Loyola Men’s Basketball Ranked In Both National Polls For Second Straight Week

Ramblers bring an 18-4 overall mark into Wednesday’s game versus Valparaiso

CHICAGO (February 15, 2021) – For a second straight week, the Loyola University Chicago men's basketball team is ranked No. 22 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll and also sits at No. 23 in the Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll. 
 
Last week, the Ramblers checked in at No. 22 in the AP Poll and No. 23 in the Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll, marking the first time since 1985 that they have been nationally ranked during the regular season. Loyola finished the 2017-18 campaign ranked No. 7 in the final Coaches Poll.
 
Loyola was won 11 of its last 12 contests and had an 11-game winning streak snapped yesterday with a 51-50 overtime loss at Drake.
 
The Ramblers open up a three-game homestand Wednesday night (Feb. 17) when they host Valparaiso at 7 p.m.
