Ramblers Move Up One Spot To No. 21 In Latest AP Top 25 Poll

Loyola needs one more victory to notch its fourth straight 20-win season

CHICAGO (February 22, 2021) – Loyola University Chicago (19-4, 14-2 MVC) has moved up one spot to No. 21 in this week's Associated Press Men's Basketball Top 25 Poll, which was revealed today. This marks the third consecutive week that the Ramblers have been ranked in the top 25 and they spent each of the previous two AP polls ranked No. 22. Loyola also checked in at No. 23 in last week's Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll.

Last Wednesday, behind 16 points from Keith Clemons, Loyola rallied from a nine-point, first-half deficit to slip past Valparaiso, 54-52, in its only action of the week. The Ramblers have prevailed in 12 of their last 13 contests overall and have won 20 straight games at home, which is the fifth-longest, active home-court winning streak in the nation.

Loyola closes out the 2020-21 regular season this weekend with home games versus Southern Illinois on February 26 and 27.
