"Abby played solid all week long," Werwie continued. "It's so fun to see her growing in confidence with her game as a freshman. It's a transition from high school and junior golf, but she has the ability to continue with scores like this week. Lorenza played steady again and continues to be a great leader for us. I was proud to see Caroline put up a low number as we've been working on a few things with her game. Abbey, Sara, and Kate all contributed as well, making it a true team effort. I know what we are capable of and this is the beginning of a bright future for our program."
Loyola will be back on the course at the Diane Daugherty Invitational in Kirkwood, Mo., March 29-30.
