CHICAGO — For their spring break, the Loyola Chicago women's golf team will head to St. George, Utah for the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational on March 6-8.
The three-day tournament will be held at the par-72, 5,914-yard Sunbrook Golf Club. Players are set to tee off with a shotgun start on Friday at 10 a.m. (CT). Second round action begins Saturday with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. (CT). Final round action starts Sunday with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. (CT).
Loyola will be joined in the nine-team event by host Southern Utah, Weber State, Idaho State, Wyoming, Omaha, Utah Tech, Stetson, and Utah Valley.
The 2025 Rio Verde Invitational was won as a team by Northern Arizona, who ended with a score of +7, while the tournament was won as an individual by Northern Arizona's Lizzie Neale with a score of -3.
The Ramblers' starting lineup will consist of Cassie Psuik, Teagan Connors, Grace Hui, Grace Durkin, and Madison Haugen for the second straight tournament.
