INDIANAPOLIS (March 22, 2021) – Loyola University Chicago (26-4) will face Oregon State (19-12) on Saturday, March 27 at 2:40 p.m. ET on CBS in the NCAA Midwest Regional Semifinal Round at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The eighth-seeded Ramblers, who have won 19 of their last 20 contests, including each of the last eight, earned a trip to the NCAA Sweet 16 thanks to Sunday's 71-58 victory over top-seeded Illinois.

Oregon State, a No. 12 seed, picked up an 80-70 win against fourth-seeded Oklahoma State, Sunday night. The Beavers have won five straight and eight of their last nine outings and are led by senior guard Ethan Thompson, who puts up 15.6 points per game.

This will be the second meeting between Loyola and Oregon State and the first since the Ramblers gained a 31-19 victory on December 31, 1927.

Loyola is 15-5 (.750) all time in NCAA Tournament action has earned five postseason wins over higher-seeded teams as well as six NCAA Tournament victories overall over the last four seasons.
