CHICAGO (April 13, 2021) – A handful of former Loyola University Chicago men's basketball players are currently enjoying productive seasons playing professional basketball overseas.
Milton Doyle is in his first season with Trieste in Italy and is averaging 12.7 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.4 steals in 24 games. The 6-foot-4 guard, who concluded his Loyola playing career in 2017 as one of the program's most accomplished all-around players, tallied 12 points, four assists and three steals in Trieste's 81-67 loss to Virtus BO in his most recent outing.

Marques Townes recently joined Kalev/Cramo Tallinn in Estonia after playing in Spain earlier this season. Kalev/Cramo Tallinn owns a 21-2 record this year and in four games with his new club, Townes, who helped lead Loyola to the NCAA Final Four in 2018, is putting up 6.6 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per outing.
Jordan Hicks, a 2013 Loyola graduate currently playing in France, had 15 points and four rebounds in Besancon's 89-88 win against Orchesien BC last week. The Rochester, Minn., native is posting 13.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game in 21 appearances this season.
Lastly, Blake Schilb, one of the all-time Rambler greats, is back in the Czech Republic and competing for USK Praha. In his first game with USK Praha, he totaled nine points and five rebounds in 20 minutes of play on April 11.
