Milton Doyle Signs With Gaziantep In Turkey

Former Loyola guard played in Italy in 2020-21

CHICAGO (August 13, 2021) – Milton Doyle (Chicago, Ill./Marshall/Kansas), who wrapped up his playing career at Loyola University Chicago in 2017, will continue his professional basketball career next season by playing for Gaziantep in Turkey. The 6-foot-4 guard, who was named to Loyola's All-Century Team in 2018, spent the 2020-21 season playing for Trieste in Italy, where he produced 12.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.4 steals per game.

Ranked ninth on Loyola's all-time scoring list with 1,606 points and fifth in program history with 459 assists, Doyle was a First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference honoree as a senior in 2016-17 when he helped the Ramblers to 18 victories. That season, he accounted for 15.2 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 4.4 apg and 1.7 spg.

This is the fourth country Doyle will have played in overseas, while also having stints in the NBA G League with the Long Island Nets and the Windy City Bulls. Prior to last season's term in Italy, the Chicago native also had stops in Israel (Hapoel Eliat) and Spain (UCAM Murcia).
