CHICAGO (August 16, 2021) – Former Loyola University Chicago men's basketball player Jordan Hicks (Rochester, Minn./Rochester Mayo) has signed a contract to play the 2021-22 season with Basket Esch in Luxembourg. This will be Hicks' second stint with the team. He spent the 2020-21 campaign with Besancon Avenir Comtois Basket in France and put up 13.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.4 steals per game.

Entering his ninth season of professional basketball overseas, the 6-foot-6 wing played for Basket Esch during the 2018-19 campaign and had one of his best all-around years, tallying 20.6 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 2.8 apg and 1.5 spg and helping the team to a second-place finish and a semifinal-round appearance in the Luxembourg League. He also collected Second Team All-Luxembourg League accolades from Eurobasket.com that season.

Hicks averaged 9.0 ppg and 4.6 rpg overall and led the Horizon League in three-point field goal percentage (.472) in league games as a senior at Loyola in 2012-13. During his career, he provided Rambler fans with a couple of unforgettable individual performances by going for 23 points and eight rebounds in a 2009 victory at No. 15 Butler and pouring in a career-high 26 points in a Senior Day win against Cleveland State.
