CHICAGO (September 17, 2021) – The Loyola University Chicago women's golf team will continue the fall portion of its 2021-22 schedule at the start of next week when it visits Yorktown, Ind. for the Cardinal Classic.

Set to be hosted at The Players Club (par 72, 6,204 yards), action at the Cardinal Classic will begin on Monday morning with a 7:30 a.m. (CT) shotgun start and will feature the opening two rounds of play. Tuesday's final round is schedule to get underway at 8 a.m. (CT). Live scoring will be available through

Joining Loyola in the 16-team field will be Missouri Valley Conference foe Valparaiso, host Ball State, Akron, Bowling Green, Butler, Cleveland State, Dayton, Eastern Michigan, IUPUI, Northern Kentucky, Oakland, Ohio, Purdue Fort Wayne, Taylor, and Western Michigan.

Cate Reisinger set to make her collegiate debut alongside the quartet of senior
Lorenza Martinez, junior
Caroline Dayton, sophomore
Abby Thielbar, and fellow freshman
Grace Suter.

Suter and Thielbar paced the attack for Loyola just under two weeks ago in Normal, Ill., each turning in 54-hole totals of 226 to share 25
th place. Suter (73-79-74), making her first appearance as a Rambler, impressed out of the gate, firing a one-over-par 73 during first-round play. Not be outdone, Thielbar (77-76-73), coming off a freshman campaign that saw her rank second on the team in stroke average, turned in a 73 of her own in the event's final round.

Loyola will return to The Hoosier State October 4-5 for the Courtney Cole Invitational in Bloomington, Ind.
