CHICAGO (September 16, 2022) – Fresh after opening the 2022-23 season with fourth place at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational, the Loyola University Chicago men's golf team returns to competition at the Valparaiso Fall Invitational in Chesterton, Ind.
The Ramblers open play on Monday at the par-72, 7,052-yard Sandy Creek Country Club on the Creek/Marsh rotation, with 36-holes of continuous play beginning with an 8 a.m. (CT) shotgun start. Final round action resumes on Tuesday, with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m. (CT) with players going off of holes one and ten. Live scoring will be accessible throughout all 54-holes via

The Ramblers join a seventeen-team field that includes host Valparaiso along with DePaul, Purdue Fort Wayne, Youngstown State, Utah State, Green Bay, Bradley, Evansville, Missouri State, Cleveland State, IUPUI, Western Illinois, Robert Morris, Detroit Mercy, Northern Kentucky, and North Dakota.

Tyler Anderson in the lineup along with freshman and brother

Charlie Kulwin taking part as an individual.
Crawford led the Ramblers on the leaderboard last time around, finishing tied for 8
th place with a 54-hole total of 216 (71-73-72) highlighted by an opening-round one over-par 71. Anderson matched Crawford with a 71 of his own in his final round to record a 218 (75-72-71) and take home a share of 15
th place.
Following the conclusion of the Valparaiso Fall Invitational, the Ramblers will head out to Des Moines, Iowa, September 26-27, to compete in the Zach Johnson Invitational.
