INDIANAPOLIS, IN. (October 2, 2023) – After 36-holes of play, the Loyola University Chicago women's golf team opens the Butler Fall Invitational in fifth place.
The Ramblers began their day with a 297 in their opening round before shaving three strokes off for a 294 in their second round. The Maroon & Gold ended the day with a 36-hole total of 591 strokes.
Junior
Cate Reisinger (75-71) and sophomore
Adie Maki (72-74) paced the Ramblers on the leaderboard, with Reisinger putting in the Ramblers' low round of the day with a 71. The pair currently sit in a tie for 12
th with a 146. One stroke behind them was freshman
Cassie Psuik, carding rounds of 73 and 74 to place in 16
th with a 147. Junior
Jolie Brochu sits in 45
th with a 152 (77-75) while senior
Abby Thielbar rounds out the lineup with a 173 (92-81). On the individual side, freshman
Grace Durkin sits in 68
th with a score 157 (80-77) and redshirt freshman
Reese Clark carded a 162 (77-85) to place in 87
th.
The Ramblers will open their final round on Tuesday morning, beginning with an 8:00 a.m. (CT) shotgun start.
