DAVIDSON, N.C. (September 11, 2023) – Through 36-holes in Davidson, N.C., the Loyola University Chicago men's golf team sits in thirteenth at the River Run Collegiate. Sophomore Charlie Kulwin put forward the lowest score of the day for the Ramblers, firing an even-par 70 in his first round.
 
The Ramblers opened the day with a first-round score of 288, followed by a second-round mark of 297, giving them a 36-hole total of 585, placing them ten shots clear of High Point (299-296=595) in fourteenth.
 
Kulwin paced the Maroon & Gold on the leaderboard, following his opening-round 70 with a 75 to place him in 35^th (70-75=145).  Fellow sophomores Sebastian Kasun (73-74) and Ryan Walsh (71-76) placed in a tie for 43^rd with a 147 while redshirt-sophomore Zach Mulhearn carded a 148 (76-72) to place in 43^rd. Graduate student Zach Walsh rounded out the leaderboard in 76^th, coming home with a 155 (74-81). 
 
The Ramblers are back at it on Tuesday morning, beginning their final round with a 7:45 a.m. (CT) shotgun start.
