Charlie Kulwin put forward the lowest score of the day for the Ramblers, firing an even-par 70 in his first round.
The Ramblers opened the day with a first-round score of 288, followed by a second-round mark of 297, giving them a 36-hole total of 585, placing them ten shots clear of High Point (299-296=595) in fourteenth.
Kulwin paced the Maroon & Gold on the leaderboard, following his opening-round 70 with a 75 to place him in 35
th (70-75=145). Fellow sophomores
Sebastian Kasun (73-74) and
Ryan Walsh (71-76) placed in a tie for 43
rd with a 147 while redshirt-sophomore
Zach Mulhearn carded a 148 (76-72) to place in 43
rd. Graduate student
Zach Walsh rounded out the leaderboard in 76
th, coming home with a 155 (74-81).
The Ramblers are back at it on Tuesday morning, beginning their final round with a 7:45 a.m. (CT) shotgun start.
