Sebastian Kasun, the Loyola University Chicago men's golf team sits in sixth place after day one of the Zach Johnson Invitational.

The Ramblers combined to shoot a score of 288 strokes in their first round before following it up with a 291 for a grand total of 579 strokes, just three behind IUPUI (294-282=576) for a spot within the top five.

Zach Walsh continues his stretch of strong form, firing a one-under-par round of 70 before following it up with an even-par 71 to tie for 14
th with a 141. Walsh feasted on the par-threes all day long, leading the field with an average of 2.88 (-1). Following behind him was Kasun, who rattled off six birdies and an eagle en route to a 69 in his first round. He currently sits tied for 20
th with a 142.Â

Charlie Kulwin shaved six strokes off of his first-round score with a one-under-par 70 in his second round to tie for 28
th (76-70=146). Sophomore
Ryan Walsh finds himself in 48
th with a 150 (73-77) while sophomore
Dori Lee rounds out the leaderboard with a 154 (T-61; 77-77=174).
