ORLANDO, FLA. (April 27, 2024) – Led by a strong second round by sophomore
Sebastian Kasun, the Loyola University Chicago men's golf team sits in tenth place after two days at the A10 Championship.
The Ramblers improved by three strokes on the second day, carding a combined 305 strokes for a two-day total of 613 strokes (308-305).
Kasun paced the Ramblers with a one-under-par 71 in his second round, an eight-stroke improvement over two days. He currently finds himself in a tie for 23
rd with a score of 150 (79-71).
Sophomores
Charlie Kulwin (75-78) and
Ryan Walsh (76-77) posted matching scores of 153 to sit in a tie for 36
th while graduate student
Zach Walsh placed in 46
th with a 157 (78-79). Making his postseason debut in the second round was freshman
Jackson Overton, who placed in 58
th with an 80.
The Ramblers now gear up for one final round in the 2023-24 season, with tee times set to begin Sunday morning at 6:30 a.m. (CT).
