NEW ORLEANS - After the first weekend of outdoor action, Loyola Chicago men's and women's 5k event squads come in nationally ranked in the USTFCCCA Polls. The men rank 11th nationally, while the women rank 13th.
Event squad rankings places a rank order to a program's "squad" of athletes in a particular event, using the cumulative season-best qualifying marks from a team's top-four ranked athletes on the national descending-order list.
At Stanford, the Rambler men were led by
Jason Clayton who clocked a 10 second PR. His time of 13:49.36 landed second on the all-time list.
Chris Devaney finished at 13:57.27 for the third fastest time in program history, while
Woody Jerome fell just outside the top-10 at 14:21.51.
Nate Boutin rounds out the top-four at 14:23.62 with a new PR.
For the Rambler women,
Emma Watcke paced Loyola with a time of 16:17.58, which took over fourth on the all-time list.
Eileen Seebon took fourth in her heat with a time of 16:40.80, while
Delia McDade-Clay shaved 32 seconds off her PR with a time of 16:45.04.
Grace Kuhn is the fourth ranked member of the squad with a time of 16:48.34.
