WASHINGTON - Loyola University Chicago distance runner Roisin Treacy was named Atlantic 10 Women's Track Co-Performer of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Treacy earned the honor following a standout performance at the Meyo Invitational, where she ran a personal-best 9:16.96 in the women's 3,000 meters. Her seventh-place finish came against a deep national field and produced the second-fastest time in Loyola program history, while also standing as the fastest mark in the Atlantic 10 this season.
The recognition marks Treacy's second indoor weekly honor this season.
The Ramblers return to action Feb. 13-14 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston.
