WASHINGTON – Two members of the Loyola University Chicago track team earned spots on the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field All-Academic Team, the conference office announced Tuesday.
Representing the Maroon and Gold on the league's postseason honor roll are Rodolfo Sanchez, an MBA candidate with a 3.92 GPA, and Eileen Seebon, an Exercise Science major with a 3.71 GPA.
Sanchez earned bronze in the 1,500m at the Atlantic 10 Championships and helped Loyola's 4x800m relay team to a runner-up finish in 7:29.12, the second-fastest time in program history. He also posted a personal-best 3:40.53 in the 1,500m at the Bryan Clay Invitational, earning him a spot at the 2026 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field West Preliminary Round.
Seebon turned in an outstanding outdoor season, capturing an Atlantic 10 title in the 10K at the conference championships. She also recorded a time of 16:47.85 in the 5K at the prestigious Bryan Clay Invitational.
