Milwaukee, Wis. - Neil Dombrowski scored four times, twice in each half, as UW-Milwaukee raced past Loyola, 4-1, this afternooon at Engelmann Field in Milwaukee, Wis. The setback is the second in succession for the Ramblers, who fall to 6-7-2 (3-2 Horizon) while the Panthers improve to 9-3-4 (4-1-1).
Dombrowski put Milwaukee in the driver's seat early, firing in a pair of goals in a seven-minute span early in the first half to give the Panthers a cushion. He opened the scoring by firing in a rebound in the 15th minute to open the scoring before stealing a pass from the Loyola keeper and converting in the 22nd minute to make it 2-0. He completed the hat trick in the 61st minute on a re-direction and powered home a 30-foot free kick in the 66th minute for number four. Keum Sung Kim pulled one back for LU in the 69th minute for his team-best sixth goal of the season but the Ramblers would get no closer.
Despite the scoreline, Milwaukee only enjoyed a 16-13 advantage in shots and the Ramblers actually owned a 5-2 edge in corner kicks.
