CHICAGO (February 3, 2020) -Â Fresh off a key victory over Bradley, Loyola looks to halt a two-game road losing slide Wednesday night when it travels to Indiana State, which sits just one game behind the Ramblers in the Missouri Valley Conference standings. The Ramblers have won three straight games against the Sycamores in Terre Haute and have also prevailed in each of their last 10 games versus teams from the neighboring state of Indiana. Loyola has emerged victorious in each of its last four games played in Indiana.Â
Winning on the road in the Missouri Valley Conference is as difficult as any league in the country, but since the start of the 2017-18 season, Loyola is 13-10 (.565) away from home in conference play.
In their last five victories, the Ramblers have yielded only 49.6 points per contest, while holding opponents to 39.2 percent (96-for-245) accuracy from the field and 28.6 percent (34-for-119) from three-point range.
During its current three-game win streak against Indiana State at the Hulman Center, Loyola is putting up 77.0 points per game and shooting 52.9 percent (73-for-138) from the field, 54.9 percent (28-for-51) from three-point land and 83.8 percent (57-fo-68) from the foul line.
Loyola has won 13 of its last 17 games (.765) in the month of February dating back to the 2016-17 season, while capturing five of its last eight road games in that month.
