No. 30 Loyola men, women head to Columbia, Missouri, for Friday’s races ahead of the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championships

CHICAGO – With the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championships fast approaching, the Loyola University Chicago cross country teams will head to the Missouri Pre-National Invite this Friday (Oct. 17) at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course for their final tune-up.

The women's invitational 6k will start at 10 a.m. CT, followed by the men's invitational 8k at 10:45 a.m. Live results and an ESPN+ stream will be available.

Last time out, the Loyola Chicago men's team—ranked No. 30 nationally and No. 5 in the USTFCCCA Midwest Region—defeated then-No. 16 North Carolina and No. 24 Washington on its way to a runner-up finish at the 46th Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational.

Graduate student William Sinclair, named the Atlantic 10 Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week for his performance, led the Ramblers with a fourth-place finish in the Tom Cooney Championship 8K, clocking 23:24.66. Jake Phillips followed in 13th with a personal-best 23:50.3, while Hayden Healey also posted a PR of 24:04.46. Yusuf Baig (24:11.32) and Nate Boutin (24:22.05, PR) completed Loyola's top five.

Following Friday, the Atlantic 10 Championships are scheduled for Saturday, Nov.1, in Dayton, Ohio.
