Avary DeBlieck,
Kaitlyn Burke, and
Karli Molnau brought home postseason Atlantic 10 honors for Loyola Chicago Thursday afternoon. Remmes was tabbed First Team, DeBlieck and Burke earned Second Team honors, and Molnau is on the All-Rookie squad. Remmes and DeBlieck each landed on the All-Academic Team.

Remmes posted the second most kills by a Rambler this regular season at 285, while hitting .332. Her hitting percentage ranks second in the A-10. She reached double-figure kills 15 times this year, including a career-high 20 vs. Saint Louis (Nov. 4). Remmes is also a force at the net with 103 blocks and counting this season.

DeBlieck's second team nod comes after a regular season full of defensive effort. She ranks third in the country and leads the A-10 in total blocks with 158 total blocks. She has 16 matches with five or more blocks this year, including two that hit double-digits. DeBlieck recorded a career-high 12 blocks vs. Saint Louis (Nov. 4). She was a three-time Defensive Player of the Week and broke the single-season block record at George Mason.

Burke was also named to the second team after leading the Ramblers in kills this season. The sophomore hitter recorded 250 kills, averaging 2.97 kills per set and hitting .212. Burke added 157 digs, which helped her post four double-doubles this year. She opened the season with 18 kills and 10 digs vs. Drake. She recorded a career-high 25 kills to go with 12 digs vs. SFA and then had back-to-back double-doubles vs. George Washington.

Molnau found success in her freshman campaign which led to an All-Rookie Team selection. She made 15 starts over 28 matches played, rotating between the right side and outside positions. She totaled205 kills, averaging just over two per set. Molnau added 50 digs and 53 blocks on the defensive end. She was named the A-10 Rookie of the Week back on Sept. 15 following a 35-kill weekend at the Loyola Invitational. She had 13 kills vs. SFA and Bowling Green.

Remmes and DeBlieck represent the Maroon & Gold on the All-Academic squad. Remmes holds a 3.898 GPA as she continues her exercise science/pre-PT degree. DeBlieck boasts a 3.780 GPA as a biology major.
