Ramblers Reveal 2025 Women’s Soccer Schedule

Regular season slate features nine home games.

CHICAGO – Loyola Chicago women's soccer unveiled its upcoming fall schedule, featuring top regional matchups and a rigorous Atlantic 10 Conference lineup. The Ramblers will face three Big Ten opponents, including one 2024 NCAA Tournament team, and host nine games at Loyola Soccer Park.  

"We are excited for the challenges and opportunities that our fall schedule presents. This group is eager to compete and committed to playing for one another," said head coach Jon Sandoval. "For us to be successful, we must maintain a high level of intensity and work ethic on a daily basis. When focused, this team is capable of achieving a great deal. Ultimately, our success on the field will be a direct reflection of the habits we establish and uphold each day."

The campaign kicks off with a pair of exhibitions, beginning Sunday, Aug. 3 on the road at Milwaukee, followed by a home matchup with Northern Illinois on Thursday, Aug. 7 at 1 p.m.  

Regular season action starts Thursday, Aug.14 when Loyola hosts crosstown rival and Big Ten foe Northwestern on Hoyne Field at 7 p.m. The Ramblers hit the road for their next two games, visiting Central Michigan (Aug. 17) then DePaul (Aug. 24) in the Red Line Rivalry.  

Loyola returns home for a challenging stretch, hosting Iowa (Aug. 28) and Purdue (Aug. 31), before rounding out nonconference play with road trips to Illinois State (Sept. 7), Eastern Michigan (Sept. 11) and Marquette (Sept. 14).  

The Ramblers open their A-10 slate against Fordham on Sunday, Sept. 21 at Loyola Soccer Park. Conference road tests follow at Dayton (Sept. 25) and Davidson (Sept. 28) before the squad hosts George Washington (Oct. 2). Loyola will take on La Salle (Oct. 5, away), Richmond (Oct. 12, home) and Duquesne (Oct. 16, away).  

Women's soccer wraps up their home schedule against VCU (Oct. 9) and Rhode Island (Oct. 23) before rounding out the regular season on the reigning A-10 champions' turf at Saint Louis (Oct. 26).  

The A-10 Championship takes place Oct. 31 through Nov. 10. at campus host sites.
