CHICAGO — Loyola University Chicago men's soccer Head Coach Steve Bode announced the program's 2025 schedule Tuesday, highlighted by 11 home matches at Loyola Soccer Park, including two exhibitions.
The Ramblers begin their preseason slate with home exhibitions against Chicago State on Saturday, Aug. 9, and Indian Hills Community College on Tuesday, Aug. 12. Loyola then travels north to face Milwaukee in its final exhibition on Saturday, Aug. 16.
The regular season kicks off Thursday, Aug. 21, when the Ramblers host Oakland at Loyola Soccer Park. The team's next match, a 1 p.m. kickoff against Purdue Fort Wayne on Sunday, Aug. 24, marks this year's edition of the program's annual "Hustle to Hoyne" game.
Loyola hits the road for the first time on Friday, Aug. 29, squaring off with crosstown rival Northwestern under the lights at Martin Stadium at 7 p.m. The Ramblers return home on Thursday, Sept. 4, to host Wright State.
The 2025 Red Line Rivalry takes place Sunday, Sept. 7, as Loyola visits DePaul in Lincoln Park. Four days later, on Thursday, Sept. 11, the team heads to southern Illinois to take on SIUE.
Loyola closes its nonconference schedule on Monday, Sept. 15, with a home matchup against UIC. Atlantic 10 play begins with a road trip to Rhode Island on Saturday, Sept. 20.
The Ramblers then return to Rogers Park for a three-match homestand, beginning with George Mason on Saturday, Sept. 27. A brief nonconference break follows as Loyola hosts Holy Cross College (Ind.) on Tuesday, Sept. 30, before resuming A-10 action against Fordham on Saturday, Oct. 4.
Loyola hits the road for matchups at Saint Joseph's on Wednesday, Oct. 8, and La Salle on Saturday, Oct. 11. The Ramblers' final home matches are set for Saturday, Oct. 18, against VCU and Saturday, Oct. 25, against Saint Louis.
The regular season concludes on the road at Dayton on Saturday, Nov. 1. The 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship will follow in November, with qualifying teams competing for the conference title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Tickets for the 2025 Loyola men's soccer season will be available for purchase in July.
