Ramblers Host Davidson

CHICAGO - Loyola Chicago returns to conference play with a home match against Davidson Saturday night. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT at Loyola Soccer Park. The Ramblers look to build off a tie last week vs. George Washington, while the Wildcats are 2-0-0 in league play.

QUICK KICKS
• Non-conference action wrapped up at Wake Forest earlier this week. Chimnossoh Okeke led the Ramblers with four shots in the 3-0 loss.
• Loyola returned to its home turf last weekend weekend to take on George Washington. Lucas Webb scored in the 90th minute to force a 1-1 draw and pick up a point in A10 standings.
• Webb was awards A10 Rookie of the Week for the performance. It was his first career goal.
• The Ramblers a 5-1-2 in non-conference play heading into the Wake Forest match. Their lone loss was to UIC back on Sept. 13.
• The Ramblers opened the season on a seven-match unbeaten streak before falling at UIC and Fordham in back-to-back matches. Loyola was held scoreless in both road contests.
• The opening unbeaten streak matched the best start to a season since 2016 when Loyola went 7-0-0 to start the year.
• Ten Ramblers have scored at least one goal for Loyola this season. Luka Ivancic leads the team with three goals scored, while Arved von Vegesack, Mateusz Drazek, and Seth Stewart have two each. Loyola's goal total is up to 15 and counting, which is fourth most in the A10.
• Ivancic is tied fifth in the A10 with 10 points on the year. He ranks seventh in goals (3) and third in assists (4).
• Head coach Kevin Robson is in his first year at the helm. He was named the fifth head coach in program history in December 2025.

SCOUTING DAVIDSON
• The Wildcats are 2-2-4 overall. Both wins have come in conference play vs. St. Bonaventure and George Mason.
• Nico Zeballos and Ayman Maadir lead the team with two goals each. Zeballos scored in the win over George Mason and had the lone goal in a loss to Elon. Maadir netted goals in back-to-back draws with No. 21 UNC Greensboro and No. 21 Furman.
• In goal, Lucas Beltran has started in seven of the eight matches. He's made 23 saves and has two shutouts. He made a season-high five saves against Furman and George Mason.

SERIES HISTORY
This is the first meeting between Loyola and Davidson since the Ramblers joined the A10. Davidson leads the all-time series 1-0 with a win in 2006.
