WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Loyola Chicago's
Kate Maley was named the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week, per the league's announcement on Monday afternoon. It marks the first weekly conference award of Maley's career and the third overall for the Ramblers so far this season.
Out of Ann Arbor, Mich., Maley totaled 24 kills on .500 hitting through Loyola's last three matches -- all of which were sweeps. In match one at Rhode Island (Oct. 3), the junior registered a season-high 12 kills and put together a .500 hitting clip. She matched her career-high four blocks in the second match against the Rams (Oct. 4) and added eight kills while hitting .615.
